The guesthouse ‘Thoukididis’ is the result of the long term efforts put in by Kapesovo native Thoukididis Papageorgiou and his family. They managed to turn an 1875 manor house into a lodging for tourists. They did it with passion and great artistry as well as with the highest respect for the special features of the area and an in deed love for their village. It is a soul deposition of ‘mastro*-Thoukididis’, a skillful craftsman of wood, stone and iron, who knows Zagori very well. The building is such a typical example of Zagorian architecture that the guest travels back in time to the good old days of Zagori, days of wealth and prosperity.
