    Open: Tuesday-Sunday: 09.00-14.30 Closed on public holidays.   Tickets: Full: € 2, Reduced: € 1   The Museum of Greek Folk Art is the central State museum which brings together works of modern cultural heritage. Rich collections include some 20,000 objects from the Greek space (mainland and islands) as well as areas where the Greeks acted. The collections chronologically cover the period from the mid-17th century. up to the 20th. The permanent exhibitions - with excellent examples of embroidery, weaving, local costumes, masquerades, shadow theater, silverware, metalwork, pottery, woodcarving, folk painting and stone sculpture - highlight the elements that shaped the cultural identity of the modern Greeks.   The Museum of Greek Folk Art, includes four (4) Annexes:   -The Main building on the street Kydathineon 17 which houses the main exhibition spaces, administrative offices, the library, the part of educational programs and events hall -The Mosque Tzisdarakis in Areos Street 1, wherein the 'Set' Ceramic Collection B. Kyriazopoulos '' -The Bath House of the Winds, Street Kyrristou 8, only one of the public baths of old Athens that survives to this day, -The Building site Pan 22, wherein the newest permanent exhibition is housed, People and Tools: Aspects of labor in pre-industrial society ', with items donated by the company Folklore Studies.
