The exhibits date from prehistory to Roman times (6000 BC-second century AD). ARCHAEOLOGICAL COLLECTION OF KOZANI
Open: Winter: 08:30-15:00 Summer: Daily: 08:00-15:00 Sat / Sun: 08:00-18:00 In Kozani Archaeological Collection findings are kept from all over the county and can be grouped into two main themes: a) Traditions findings, meditation and excavations, which were introduced in the collection until 1980. More important is that all the classic Kozani cemetery. The findings in this section dating from prehistoric to Roman times. b) Tradition, meditation and excavation findings, which were introduced in the collection from 1980 and onwards. Most important sets of the second section from rescue, surface and excavations of prehistoric settlements of the Valley of the Yellow Lake, to rescue, surface and excavations in the Valley of the average flow of Aliakmon - pond Polyfytos and excavations at several archaeological sites in the prefecture of Kozani. ECCLESIASTICAL MUSEUM OF SIATISTA
Open: Winter: From the 1st of November until the 31 of March: 8:30-15:00 The Ecclesiastical Museum of Siatista seeks to familiarize the citizen with ecclesiastical art, but also to highlight the relationships developed by the Mountain Siatista with the known art production centers. The area hosts the Ecclesiastical Museum is located on the 1st floor of new building in the courtyard of the Metropolitan Palace Siatista. The area of the hall is 144 sq.m.
