BRAZZO DI MAINA - HOSTELS ITILO LACONIA - ROUMPEA ELENI
The newly built traditional luxury accommodations BRAZZO DI MAINA are located only 200 m away from the ocean at the enchanting gulf of Neo Itilo, in the coastal settlement of Karavostasi on the legendary Mani Peninsula. It is a hotel complex of high aesthetic standard, built in the style of the traditional Maniatic architecture from the natural stone of the region and with an interior décor of luxuriously comfortable ambiance. The hotel is owner-run and open year-round. It consists of five independent buildings with rooms able to accommodate two to four persons and a maisonette for up to five persons. Each of the buildings features a terrace with a marvelous panorama view over the entire bay and the surrounding mountain scenery. The beach is only a few minutes away. Moreover, the location is an ideal starting point for excursions and sightseeing: numerous different beaches, little sleepy fishing villages and the famous Mani with its impressive residential towers and its unique landscape as a sight in itself. Impressively adapted to the landscape, the Brazzo di Maina is situated at the mountainside of the bay of Neo Itilo in the so called Inner Mani, offering a fantastic view of the ocean and the surrounding mountains. The nearby small town of Karavostasi offers a cafeteria, a small selection of fish taverns and a very interesting rock coast for climbing and snorkeling. KASTRO MAINI
In the heart of one of the most historic and independent parts of the region of Mani, the city of Areopolis, which is a natural crossroad, we created for you a unique resort in order to relax and enjoy yourself. The resort complex, called KASTRO MAINI, is a traditional stone-constructed building, made with love and special care, totally embodied into the traditional architectural style of the region of Mani. There is an outdoor swimming pool and a special swimming pool for children with panoramic view, and a bar as well for a coffee or a beverage. On a special occasion you can enjoy your drink near the fireplace or at the hotel bar. Traditional meals are prepared and served at the restaurant. Also protected are the four-store of Mavromichalis Tower and is surrounded by a large building complex and a tall enclosure, rendering it a real fortress and the Pikoulakis Towerha who has three stores, with a strong, two-storey tower-house.
