The Family Business "Myron Giaboudakis SA" was created in 1964, having the need to preserve the smells and tastes of our childhood, which were not lacking daily from home. With the wisdom of the grandmother and the mum's prompts, they had a need to engage in traditional pastries. They put their taste, their knowledge and their technique and from then on they create the daily necessities that they taste and accompany the family table at all its events. In our bakery you will also find fresh and hot pies, such as the traditional spinach pie with foil in hand, different types of cheese pie, ham cheese pies and other meals. We also offer croissants in various flavors such as raisin, apple and bagels, as well as breakfast rolls. In addition, we provide Cretan specialties such as lychnarakia, skaltsounia and xerotigana, prepared with love and care using local products such as eggs, milk, cheese and honey. Every day we prepare many baked sweets, such as walnut pie, chocolate pie, orange pie, fasting apple pie, kourabiedes with sheep butter and a variety of other sweets that are always fresh. Our store is located at the entrance of Plakias, directly across from the "Alianthos" hotel. We operate daily from 07.00 in the morning to 11.00 at night. In our place you can enjoy your coffee, juice or soft drink and accompany them with our fresh products, enjoying the wonderful view of Plakias beach. We also offer breakfast using local olive oil and fresh local products. No need to worry about parking as there is a space right in front of our store.
