Starting from Athens Tzoumerka, we had a question about what we find! Go to the new Litsa and Kostas hostel without having seen even a photo! We arrived late in Rodavgi, about 20 minutes after we left behind us the Arta.
In the center of the village we quickly drank some tsipouro and quickly learned the way to the hostel. The hostel is located about 2km from the village in a landscape smothered in chestnut, overlooking the surrounding mountains and the highest peak of Tzoumerka!
The hostel was named Arachthos by his sister Arachthos River, which flows a little lower than the hostel. At night, when we sit by the fireplace, ask a Litsa telling you the story unfolding in this place!
And now go to the hostel .. consists of five buildings, two stories of traditional architecture with roof of tiles. They all together feel of a small village. First, here was a small house, which was restored to house a small café for visitors to the hostel. The rooms are spacious and can accommodate 2-4 persons. They have kitchenette and refrigerator, so the visitor has complete autonomy ..
For visitors who craves real contact with nature, the hostel and the area is ideal!
Starting from the hostel you are able to truly escape and many activities. In consultation with the owners you can do horse riding and rafting in Arachthos, and you can visit the Bridge of Plaka, the most impressive stone bridge in Epirus, the Agnanta, the Pramanta, Syrrako and Kalarrytes. If you want the sea, we would suggest a few minutes from Arta, the Koronisia. The Koronisia located in downtown Amvakikou Gulf and linked to the mainland by a very narrow strip of road to Arta. The path in the Gulf will see many rare birds that find refuge here.
