Papingo. One of the most beautiful village. Built at the foot of Astraka, Western edge of the ravine Vikos. It consists of 2 towns, the Big and Small Papingo. It is 58chlm. of Ioannina and is located at an altitude of 980 meters. In large rooms are Papingo Lakis in the center of the village which makes it easy to move any time you want to all the restaurants and shops without a car. The building is two storey and are built according to traditional architecture Zagori. On the ground floor coffeehouse operated traditional grocery store and on customer needs. The «Lakis» traditionally consists of 5 double rooms with possibility to be converted to triples to quads. All are on the floor and offer beautiful views in the gorge and Astraka of Vikos. All rooms have private bath, TV and heating, while two of the rooms have a fireplace. Cleaned daily. Lakis rooms have parking and a large yard where you can sit and enjoy the view of the ravine and Astraka Vikos while the space for children to play. Visitors can make climbing in Astraka in Drakolimni or to cross the ravine of Vikos. It can do rafting and horseback riding in Voidomatis around the base Papigko.Me Big Papingo you can browse around the village, and admire the wildlife and the beautiful mountains of Northern Pindos and also in the Ioannina region.
