The Tegea Archaeological Museum was founded in 1909 by Constantine Roman at the expense of Athens
Archaeological Society.
In 2012, under the program "re-exposure of the Archaeological Museum of Tegea" (NSRF), the Museum is upgraded and a new report is created. This report includes, besides the exhibits, unpublished archival material and historical and archaeological information, presented in an original way in the last generation technology. The interdisciplinary nature of the whole exhibition approach is obvious: History and Archaeology, Geoinformatics, computer technology, creating a unique environment for the visitor.
