The permanent exhibition of the Archaeological Museum of Chalkida operates in its present form since 1990, when the sculptures of the Late Archaic temple of Apollo from Eretria were transferred to the Archaeological Museum of Eretria. It contains exhibits dating from the Paleolithic to the Late Roman period and from various excavations throughout the island of Evia. Large archaeological objects modules making up the report about the ceramic different time periods, the plastic from the Archaic to the Roman era, arms and in metallurgy, in mints from major cities of Gujarat and also the inscriptions and resolutions. The most important exhibits of the museum, which cause great impression, are those from the prehistoric settlement of Manika, but high art statues.
