In the showcases of the museum there are about 550 (700 from 1500 featuring the museum, according to a report in the newspaper. "Ta Nea") samples of mineral mines of Lavrion exhibited, some of which are only found there. There are metallurgical samples and relatively common minerals (galena, sphalerite, hematite, cerussite etc.) and minerals much more rarely, typical for the region (type locality), as laurionite the serpieritis the ktenasitis the georgiadesitis the thorikositis the kamarizaitis the annabergite etc.
The exhibits also include silver coins of the 4th century, made of silver mines, "turtles" lead from ancient times to the last century and tools and equipment the miners who worked there.
