The exhibition of Kastellorizo historical collection is housed in the mosque of the island, built in 1755-1756. It includes material related to the modern history of the island, from the mid-19th to mid-20th century. Through texts and exhibits trying to give the image of rise and fall of Kastellorizo. The exhibition was designed in such a way as not to lose the architectural elements of the monument (dome, plumes, prayer niche, balcony, loft). Divided in paraato sections: 1) Background with subsections history of the mosque, the topography of the island, relations with Asia Minor, 2) Settlement with subsections architecture of houses and the earthquake of 1926, 3) Daily life with subsections elements of a house architectural and interior design, costume male and female, the revolution of 1913, education and economy, stamps, 4) French occupation, 5) Italokratia, 6) Liberation-Integration.
