The Archaeological Museum of Karpathos is housed in the west wing of Eparchio, a building complex of the period of Italian occupation. The exhibition is divided into three sections:
- Prehistoric times section, including Neolithic findings and findings of the Minoan / Mycenaean era that were found on the island
- Historical times section, with exhibits of the three ancient cities of the island, Karpathos, Arkesia and Vroukounta
- Byzantine times section, with representative findings from the early Christian basilicas and villages of Karpathos
