The Museum was founded in 1977 and is housed in the home of the famous Greek painter George Gounaropoulos (1890-1977), in the Zografou area in Athens.
In the Museum thirtytwo of the artist's works are being exhibited, oil paintings and 14 drawings in black and coloured crayons, five studies and also items which belonged to him.
