The Folklore Museum of the Nikolaos Dimitriou Cultural Foundation, represents the daily way of life of the inhabitants of Samos before the 2nd World War. The museum is divided into thematic sections presenting the professions of that time, as the shepherd, the fisherman, the cobbler, the most important of all the farmer and the farm work. Additionally, the visitor has the opportunity to meet the Monokamaro house and cellar, that is the residence of the people of that time and their utility to serve their daily needs. A variety of woven, loom, pieces of the famous white embroidery of Samos, urban house lots, traditional costumes male and female, the crib and layette is still some of the exhibits to be seen when visiting the Folklore Museum
