The Byzantine Museum of Veria is housed in the Mill Mark, a recently renovated industrial building of the century, located in the neighborhood of the conservation district Kyriotissa.
It includes three floors, total area 720 sq.m. each of which will accommodate a conceptually separate section of the permanent exhibition. The material of the permanent exhibition includes part of the rich collection of portable icons, frescoes from churches and secular buildings, mosaics, manuscripts and incunabula, pottery and miniature art, coins and wood carvings, burial finds, architectural sculptures and marble inscriptions.
