Isli is a sweet with roots from Asia Minor and Cappadocia specifically.
This sweet was usually made for the two great feasts of Orthodoxy, Christmas and Easter. The name is Turkish and has been established because it is entirely made by hand.
Regarding the shape it is formed as a triangle, and the sweet is made with great care, love and technique. The special flavor is attributed to the natural ingredients combined with walnut and various herbs combined with light syrup which keeps the sweet taste of the sweet.
So, Isli came to Greece with the persecution of the Asia Minor disaster.
Because of our origins, we started trying to manufacture it, in 1990. With great care and love for the product and keeping the traditional recipe with fresh ingredients, we managed to bring it in many confectioneries and with very good acceptance by the public, particularly in the major fasts.
Isli is available in selected confectioneries in Thessaloniki, Athens and other cities.
Our goal is to maintain excellent product quality, increase the production of the product in order for more people to get to know it and taste it.
